This is a high-impact executive leadership role for a proven patient safety professional ready to drive meaningful, measurable change across multiple facilities. This position works closely with Market Quality and Medical Officer leadership and carries responsibility for ensuring regulatory compliance, advancing safety culture, and reducing avoidable harm system-wide. What You'll Be Doing Leading market-wide patient safety and risk management strategy Advancing safety culture and patient safety education initiatives Identifying and mitigating patient safety risks across multiple facilities Applying systems thinking and reliable design principles Driving measurable reductions in avoidable harm Overseeing risk management and claims activities Managing process improvement and outcomes Ensuring regulatory compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, The Joint Commission, and AHCA Leading the annual Patient Safety Program and related project management Building and maintaining strong relationships with executive and clinical teams Occasional evening/weekend rounding and travel to facilities requiring quality leadership support

Market Chief Medical Officer What You'll Need Education Bachelor's degree in a clinically related field required (RN preferred) Master's degree (MHA, MBA, MSN, or related) preferred Experience 4+ years of recent leadership experience in clinical quality improvement within an acute care hospital setting Proven experience leading multi-site teams and system-wide initiatives Strong ability to build executive-level relationships and communicate with influence Multi-facility environment experience preferred Licensure & Certifications Active clinical licensure required (RN preferred) Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) required

Compensation & Benefits Salary:

$137,000 - $190,000 (commensurate with experience)

Incentive Bonus:

Up to 17.5%
