Job Description

D2B Groups is seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Manager to lead our client's safety initiatives across various projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and policies aimed at reducing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe work environment for employees. You will collaborate closely with managers, supervisors, and employees to foster a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program, including policies, procedures, and training sessions. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections at job sites, identifying hazards and implementing corrective measures. Lead safety training sessions and workshops to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices. Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and suggesting improvements to prevent recurrence. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards. Work with the management team to set safety goals and evaluate safety performance metrics. Act as a safety consultant to project teams, providing expert advice on safety-related matters. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in safety management or a related field. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or relevant safety certification is preferred. Experience with
NFPA 70E
Electrical Training Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction and industrial environments. Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills. Demonstrated ability to conduct safety audits and risk assessments effectively. Proficient in safety management software and tools.
