Experience:
Manager Salary:
$110,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of EHS, including safety, document control, leadership, and OHSA. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role and the candidate must be bilingual.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage the company's EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. 2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. 3. Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. 4. Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees. 5. Manage the document control system to ensure all EHS documents are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory requirements. 6. Lead the EHS team, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS practices into daily operations. 8. Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and handle any inquiries or inspections. 9. Continually monitor and analyze EHS performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary. 10. Promote a positive safety culture within the organization.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry. 3. In-depth knowledge of OHSA regulations and other relevant safety legislation. 4. Proven experience in document control and managing safety systems. 5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence others. 6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in at least two languages. 7. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is preferred. 8. Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections. 9. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 10. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. 11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
