Regional role with light travel High-impact safety leadership About Our Client A well-established GC with a strong reputation across the Carolinas, specializing in ground-up commercial construction. The company has a steady pipeline of repeat business in banking and healthcare-related projects and is known for investing in long-term employees, maintaining a close-knit team culture, and leveraging technology to streamline jobsite execution. Job Description Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Provide safety training and education programs for employees and contractors. Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Prepare and present safety performance reports to management. Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential safety risks. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations applicable to the construction industry. Promote a culture of safety awareness among all employees and stakeholders. The Successful Applicant A successful Safety Manager should have: A strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards in construction. Proven experience in implementing and managing safety programs. Relevant certifications in occupational safety and health or equivalent qualifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and implement solutions. Ability to train and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
