Job Description
RegulatoryOperational Safety Leader Fargo, ND | Full-Time | GroWings Robotx North America Help shape the future of autonomous aviation in agriculture. GroWings Robotx North America is developing next-generation autonomous aerial application systems designed to transform how crop protection and nutrition products are delivered. We are seeking a RegulatoryOperational Safety Leader to help guide the safe, compliant, and scalable deployment of this groundbreaking technology across North America. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of aviation, agriculture, technology, and regulatory innovation. What You'll Do Lead regulatory compliance efforts related to FAA approvals, waivers, exemptions, and certifications. Partner with U.S. leadership, Israel-based engineering teams, and external stakeholders to support commercialization efforts. Develop and maintain operational safety programs, procedures, and compliance initiatives. Assess operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Support BVLOS operations, autonomous flight activities, and future certification pathways. Collaborate with regulatory agencies, customers, and industry partners to advance operational capabilities. A Day in the Life You'll spend your time working with engineering teams, regulatory agencies, operational partners, and leadership to navigate complex aviation regulations, support flight operations, evaluate safety risks, and help create the framework that brings autonomous agricultural aviation to market. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in aviation operations, aviation safety, UAS, aerospace, regulatory compliance, or related industries. Strong understanding of FAA regulations and UAS operational requirements. Experience working in regulated environments with compliance accountability. Ability to solve complex problems and develop practical regulatory strategies. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Experience FAA Flight Standards (AFS) UAS certifications, approvals, or exemptions BVLOS operations FCC and RF communications compliance Agricultural aviation or ag-tech Safety Management Systems (SMS) National Airspace System (NAS) Why Join GroWings?
