Our work is grounded in supporting people through recovery with dignity, consistency, and compassion, while creating environments that promote stability and well-being across every level of care. In this role, you will help strengthen the systems and practices that keep our programs safe, prepared, and responsive. The Safety Manager plays an important part in supporting day-to-day operational stability by helping ensure that facilities, teams, and partners are aligned around a respectful, trauma-informed approach to safety. Responsibilities Ensure the safety, security, and emergency preparedness of all facilities and programs. Support oversight of facility readiness. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and insurance requirements. Maintain a trauma-informed safety environment that prioritizes dignity, respect, and minimal re-traumatization for clients, staff, and visitors. Coordinate incident response. Document safety events. Lead drills. Partner closely with Facilities, Operations, and Clinical leadership. Requirements Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of basic OSHA safety standards, emergency preparedness, and incident response. Ability to complete detailed documentation and follow chain-of-command reporting requirements. Experience interacting professionally with clients, staff, vendors, and law enforcement. Eligibility to work in the United States. Reliable transportation and availability to travel between facilities as needed. Availability for on-call incident response. Preferred Qualifications Experience in safety, security, or facilities coordination within healthcare, social services, or behavioral health. Experience overseeing third-party security personnel, including coordinating vendor performance or working with external security teams. Associate's or bachelor's degree. Experience working in trauma-informed environments, such as behavioral health, addiction recovery, or other client-facing care settings.
