Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Safety & Training Programs Manager focused on Crane Services to lead the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of safety & training programs, and supporting crane operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing training initiatives, maintaining compliance with applicable safety standards, supporting operational excellence, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge of construction safety with proven leadership skills and experience managing training programs, compliance initiatives, and operational processes. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage company safety programs supporting crane operations, rigging activities, and field services. Monitor safety performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and delivery of employee and client training programs. Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor regulatory changes and recommend updates to internal policies and procedures. Support compliance with applicable OSHA requirements and industry safety standards. Partner with operations and leadership teams to align training activities with business objectives. Assist with scheduling field services, inspections, and safety-related programs. Provide guidance and mentorship to safety coordinators, trainers, and administrative support staff. Prepare reports on safety performance, training participation, certifications, and operational metrics. Requirements High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred). 5+ years of experience in construction safety, industrial safety, crane services, workforce training, or related operations. 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or program management experience. Strong knowledge of workplace safety principles and compliance practices. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital record management systems. Experience managing safety training or workforce development programs. Experience coordinating certification programs and maintaining compliance records. Professional safety certifications (such as OSHA-authorized trainer credentials, CSP, CHST, or similar) are a plus.
