Join a contractor supporting a critical two-week shutdown and equipment replacement project at an active mining facility in Silver City, NM. This role will provide dedicated night-shift safety oversight for the removal and replacement of a primary gyratory crusher. The project involves demolition, heavy crane and rigging operations, mechanical equipment installation, energy isolation, confined space hazards, elevated work, and contractor coordination within an active mining environment. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for an experienced mining safety professional who understands the pace and complexity of shutdown/outage work and is comfortable overseeing high-risk heavy industrial activities under MSHA requirements.
