Interim Quality Director

Interim Quality Director Needed in Las Cruces, New Mexico! The Position An Interim Quality Director is needed to provide leadership and oversight for quality, performance improvement, patient safety, risk management, regulatory compliance, and accreditation initiatives. This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer. Key responsibilities include providing strategic oversight of the facility's quality and patient safety programs while advancing performance improvement and regulatory readiness. This leader will promote a strong culture of safety and compliance, collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams, and drive initiatives that strengthen patient care and outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and collaborative leader who can build trust across clinical and operational teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This individual should demonstrate sound judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate teams and effectively navigate complex situations. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements BSN required; MSN preferred. Current New Mexico RN license required. Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) certification is required within one year of hire. Must have at least seven years of nursing experience, including at least three years of Director/Manager experience. Previous RN Director-level experience is preferred. Compensation Details Compensation Range:
$155,000 to $165,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments. Interim Leadership with B.E. A compact nursing license allows registered nurses to work in any state that is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact without needing separate state licenses.
