Why This Role Matters We're hiring a Food Safety & Quality Manager who wants to own food safety end‑to‑end, influence operations daily, and be the final decision‑maker when it comes to protecting consumers, customers, and the business. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all food safety and quality management systems meet or exceed regulatory, customer, and company standards. You will oversee the implementation, auditing, assessment, and training of quality systems at our Customer Service Center (CSC), ensuring we deliver only the finest, safest products to our airline customers. FDA & USDA
regulations FSMA cGMPs Customer food safety requirements Lead investigations into: Food safety deviations Environmental findings Alleged foodborne illness complaints Audit Readiness & Regulatory Confidence Prepare and lead unannounced audits and inspections Act as the primary site lead for:
FDA / USDA
inspections Customer audits Third‑party audits (SQF, BRC, IFS experience strongly preferred) Drive corrective actions through completion and verification, not just documentation Quality Systems & Verification Oversee environmental monitoring and microbiological testing programs Review and trend: Swab results Finished product testing Sanitation verification data Conduct routine and spot checks on the production floor Ensure customer and internal quality standards are consistently met Who We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field PCQI certification HACCP certification 5+ years of hands‑on food safety experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Experience leading audits and inspections Strong working knowledge of:
FDA & USDA
