The Safety Manager - Heavy Civil Construction in New York, New York is open do to growth and strong pipeline. Job Description Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and procedures for civil construction projects. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards. Provide safety training and education programs for all employees and subcontractors. Investigate and document workplace incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to identify potential safety hazards and mitigate risks. Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including training, inspections, and incident reports. Stay updated on industry safety standards and best practices to ensure continuous improvement of safety measures. Act as a point of contact for all safety-related issues and provide guidance to ensure a culture of safety on-site.
