Overview The Corporate Quality and EHS Manager plays a crucial role in OMNI's growth and success through their ownership of quality, safety, and sustainability culture across all sites. They are responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of Quality, EHS, and CSR policies across OMNI Systems. They ensure all business processes are in place to keep people safe, improve quality, manage risk, and ensure OMNI meets our net zero carbon footprint by 2040. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Creating and updating policies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Identifying potential hazards / risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Educating employees and contractors on safety, quality, and environmental standards. Managing audit schedule and preparedness for certifications like GFSI, ISO, FSC, etc. Reviewing and dispositioning NCR's directly and through direct and indirect reports. Completing and presentation of annual CSR reporting Completing annual Ecovadis survey and driving closure to corrective actions Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Developing and maintaining emergency response plans and ensuring regular drills are conducted. Sponsoring Quality and Safety teams across the organization Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for management and regulatory authorities. Analyzing safety and quality data as well as incident reports to identify trends and recommend preventative measures across OMNI. This will include identification of new technologies to help improve these areas. Fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among all employees. Other Duties as Assigned Supervisory Responsibilities This role currently has one direct report stations in St. Louis MO alongside multiple indirect reports. Education and/or Experience BS/ MS in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field technical field. Demonstrated expertise in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001), Proficiency in health and safety standards, related audits, protocols (e.g., OSHA), and environmental regulations (e.g., EPA) Previous Experience as a QA / QC Executive.
  • Certification in relevant disciplines (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Safety Professional, Six Sigma, Project Management Professional) is a plus Key Competencies Communication Skills Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification methodologies Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. Mathematical Skills
  • Understanding of statistics and probability
  • Ability to interpret datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Competence in risk assessment and hazard identification methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex QHS challenges
  • Proficiency in mathematical calculations relevant to quality management and safety protocols Computer Skills Working knowledge on systems such as Radius, OA, SAP and Customer Portals. Knowledge of ERP systems and databases. Experience with Radius / EPS is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Certification in relevant QHSE disciplines (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Safety Professional, Six Sigma, Project Management Professional) is a plus Physical Demands
  • Prolonged sitting, especially for computer-based work
  • Frequent use of hands, fingers, and wrists for writing, mouse, and keyboard use
  • Standing for extended periods while performing inspections or overseeing plant operations
  • Walking throughout office and production facilities to monitor quality and safety initiatives
  • Crouching, bending, or reaching as necessary to inspect equipment and workspaces
  • Routine interaction with machinery and tools, including tow motors and overhead cranes
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Expected travel ~25% - 50% depending on home location & proximity to Cleveland (Corporate)
  • Work Environment The Quality and EHS Manager operates primarily within both office and plant environments at OMNI Systems LLC.
While much of the work is performed in a corporate office setting, frequent visits to production facilities are necessary to oversee and support quality and environmental, health, and safety initiatives. The plant areas can be noisy and may present exposure to fumes, debris, and routine interaction with equipment such as tow motors and overhead cranes. Whenever entering the production floor, the Quality and EHS Manager must strictly follow all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
