Your Role:
The EHS Manager leads the development and execution of environmental, health, and safety programs at the Distribution Center, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of proactive safety performance. The role plays an active role in overseeing risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies, managing and developing an EHS team, and focusing on continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives. This role will also support the Sinking Spring PA location.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership on EHS matters; ensure understanding and adherence across the organization. Oversee EHS team in risk assessments and mitigation strategies for occupational, machinery, and process safety. Develop and mentor the EHS team; manage training and development plans. Develop and implement strategies to reduce environmental impact; promote sustainability practices.
Maintain EHS Management System:
policy development, hazard identification, compliance, documentation control, performance monitoring. Prepare compliance reports and communications for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Track proactive reporting (near misses, root causes) to drive preventive strategies across the supply chain. Lead crisis/incident response planning with real-time monitoring and predictive analytics. Integrate local and global regulatory requirements with sustainability goals and circular economy practices. Promote safety and sustainability governance; model safe operations. Coordinate cross-functional improvements in safety, quality, and sustainability.
Who You Are Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 5+ years of experience leading EHS programs at a manufacturing or distribution site. Minimum 5+ years of experience supervising EHS staff and developing talent. Strong knowledge of occupational, machinery, and process safety risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Demonstrated ability to ensure local and global regulatory compliance; track record of regulatory reporting.
