Job Description

Central Electric Cooperative is seeking a Manager of Safety & Loss Control to lead safety, compliance, and risk reduction across the cooperative. This is a key leadership role for someone who can build strong programs, support employees and supervisors, and help create a culture where safety is part of everything we do. What You'll Do
  • Lead the cooperative's safety and loss control programs, policies, and everyday practices.
  • Plan and coordinate safety training, employee onboarding, inspections, field visits, and accident investigations.
  • Help ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and other safety standards.
  • Support workers' compensation, property loss, liability prevention, and hazard reduction efforts.
  • Oversee hazardous materials processes, contractor safety orientation, and PA One Call administration.
  • Keep the safety manual current and partner with teams to strengthen safe work practices.
  • Act as a trusted safety resource for leaders, committees, and employees.
  • Develop and implement departmental budget and work plan. What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in safety or a related field.
  • Safety certification(s) are a plus.
  • Five or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety, compliance, training, and loss control.
  • Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required. Benefits & Perks

Pay:
$90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
