Job Title:
EHS ManagerJob Description We are seeking an experienced EHS Consultant to support a food and beverage manufacturing facility on a part-time basis. The consultant will serve as an extension of the onsite EHS team, providing hands-on support for safety, environmental, training, compliance, and regulatory activities. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with employees at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities + Support site safety and environmental programs. + Conduct facility walkthroughs and hazard assessments. + Assist with regulatory data collection and submissions. + Facilitate safety training and communications. + Support compliance tracking and audit readiness efforts. + Partner with supervisors and managers on corrective actions. + Maintain EHS documentation and records. + Assist with process safety and risk management activities when applicable. Essential Skills + Experience supporting EHS programs in manufacturing or warehousing environments. + Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. + Ability to influence employees and leadership without direct authority. + Experience working in regulated industrial environments. + Familiarity with safety management systems. + Experience supporting audits and inspections preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred. + Skills in PSM, RMP, Audit, EHS, and contractor safety. + Experience withOSHA, VAOSHA, EPA
compliance, and incident investigation. Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing and warehouse facility for a food and beverage company. The schedule is approximately 2-3 days per week, for an initial engagement of 3-6 months. The position requires onsite presence and involves exposure to the manufacturing floor, warehouse operations, and industrial equipment. Standard manufacturing PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear may be required as per site policy. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
