Who we are: Paragon Safety Group provides safety services to construction clients throughout the Eastern US. Headquartered in Raleigh, we provide workplace safety training, consulting, and on-site safety professionals to help our clients keep their jobsites safe.
What we need:
Paragon Safety Group has a safety position at construction jobsite in the Stillwater, PA area and we are seeking a safety professional who might fill this position in the role of an On-Site Safety Professional.
Duration :
6+ months
Hours :
5 days a week, 12 hours a day, night shift for 6 weeks then transfer to day shift Our positions are temporary W-2 positions with full-time hours ( job will offer the potential for significant overtime. 12 hour days, 5 days a week). In this job, you'd work on the pharmaceutical construction site, coaching workers to ensure the safe operations on behalf of the Paragon client, either a site owner, general contractor, or specialty subcontractor. The person will identify and correct unsafe working conditions, conduct field inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Job Duties of the On-Site Safety Specialist Perform regular site safety audits and prepare formal audit reports using our preferred software, called Safety Reports Coach employees on-site to use safe work practices, in compliance with federal guidelines and company regulations. Monitor the performance of safety critical tasks. Work with the Contractor to ensure proper safety best practices are being implemented. Represent the client's best interest related to site health and safety at all times. Report safety incidents and conduct investigations when deemed necessary. Conduct Safety Orientation for personnel as needed.
The successful candidate has:
OSHA 510
& Minimum 8 years' experience in jobs with 100% of time managing construction site safety Up to date First Aid / CPR / AED Certification Great communication skills (required )

$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
