Position Summary The Construction Safety Manager is responsible for leading and enforcing safety compliance within hyperscale data center environments, with a focus on low-voltage network cabling projects, including fiber and copper infrastructure. This role maintains a strong on-site presence, develops and enforces safety programs, conducts risk assessments and audits, leads incident investigations, and promotes a proactive safety culture across multiple crews and project sites. Key Responsibilities Team Management Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight to a team of 5+ safety coordinators On-Site Hyperscale Safety Leadership Serve as the primary safety authority within active and new-build hyperscale data center environments Oversee safety for all low-voltage scopes Low-Voltage Safety Program Development & Enforcement Develop, implement, and improve hyperscale-specific safety manuals, policies, and procedures Cover structured cabling, fiber optics, containment, racks, pathways, and live environments Safety Planning, Risk Assessment & Documentation Create and maintain Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Pre-Task Safety Analyses (PTSA) Maintain audit-ready documentation aligned with owner and GC requirements Regulatory, Owner & Industry Compliance Ensure compliance with
OSHA, NEC, NFPA
70E, TIA, BICSI and hyperscale client standards Conduct site audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking Incident Prevention, Investigation & Corrective Action Lead hazard identification efforts Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Training, Orientation & Safety Culture Development Deliver hyperscale-required orientations and task-specific training Conduct toolbox talks and ongoing safety education Facilitate OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training sessions PPE, Tools & Equipment Oversight Oversee selection, inspection, and maintenance of PPE Ensure safe use of lifts, ladders, fiber tools, and testing equipment Stakeholder Collaboration, Reporting & Metrics Collaborate with hyperscale owners, general contractors, project managers, and subcontractors Track safety KPIs Submit required reports and communicate safety trends and performance This job description outlines the general nature and level of work expected for this role. Pay Range:
$90,000 - $130,000 Qualifications Required 5+ years of construction safety experience One of the following certifications: STSC (Safety Trained Supervisor for Construction) CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) CSP (Certified Safety Professional) 3+ years of safety team management experience (minimum 5 direct reports)

certification Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction/telecom safety standards Experience developing and managing SSSP, JHA, and PTSA documentation Experience conducting inspections, investigations, and root cause analyses Experience working in active, zero-downtime hyperscale environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Construction Management, or related field Additional certifications such as First Aid/CPR, Confined Space, Fall Protection, or
