Overview:
This role is responsible for ensuring all food products meet company standards for safety, quality, and consistency across all locations. The position partners closely with suppliers to verify compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality expectations through audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action management. The role is highly proactive, focusing not only on resolving issues but also on strengthening and improving food safety and quality assurance programs. This includes establishing best practices, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and helping suppliers enhance their operational and compliance processes. In addition, the position works cross-functionally with teams such as Operations, Product Development, Category Management, and Risk Management to address food safety concerns, investigate product-related issues, and implement preventative solutions. The role also plays a key part in commercialization efforts by ensuring new or reformulated products meet all food safety and quality requirements before launch. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing supplier audits and compliance documentation, conducting facility audits and product evaluations, managing regulatory and quality records, supporting food safety incident investigations, and partnering on new product introductions. Overall, this is a hands-on, collaborative role focused on supplier management, food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance to ensure products meet the highest standards before reaching customers.
