This position is specifically for a Private Patrol Operator Qualified Manager regulated by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS). This is NOT a healthcare Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) position.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the designated Qualified Manager for the company's California Private Patrol Operator license and operations. Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the private security business in accordance with BSIS requirements. Assist with PPO licensing, regulatory compliance, company policies, procedures, documentation, and operational standards. Help ensure security operations comply with applicable California laws, BSIS regulations, and Private Security Services Act requirements. Provide guidance regarding security guard operations, supervision, training, incident reporting, recordkeeping, and operational procedures. Support the development and growth of the company's professional security operations. Communicate with company ownership regarding licensing, compliance, staffing, and operational matters. Be available for occasional in-person meetings in Orange County, California, as needed.

Qualifications:

Must meet California BSIS eligibility requirements to serve as a Private Patrol Operator Qualified Manager. Current BSIS Private Patrol Operator Qualified Manager approval/certificate is strongly preferred. Candidates who meet the required qualifying experience and are eligible to complete the BSIS Qualified Manager examination may also be considered. Strong knowledge of California private security operations and BSIS requirements is preferred. Relevant paid security and management or administrative experience consistent with BSIS qualifying requirements. Professional, reliable, organized, and able to communicate effectively. Ability and willingness to actively manage and support a new security company during its licensing and startup phase.
