Job Description
You shall provide technical HSE support to multiple Construction and Commissioning projects across the US
You shall provide effective and consistent leadership, guidance, and direction to Project HSE Managers
Maintain close visibility of project site activities and proactively identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
You shall deliver applicable HSE and Security training to employees and project teams
You are required to organize and lead HSE critical training classes and maintain oversight of employee training status
Conceptualize and develop new training modules, HSE communication materials, safety tools, and promotional campaigns as needed
You shall track HSE audit schedules and perform detailed on site HSE audits and periodic inspections at all assigned job sites
Coach and mentor Site HSE Managers and Safety Technicians to strengthen their technical competency and leadership effectiveness
You are required to closely monitor safety observations, incident trends, and leading indicators, proactively initiate corrective and preventive actions
You shall lead incident and accident reporting, investigations, and Root Cause Analyses for Construction and Commissioning events in a timely, thorough manner
You are required to prepare materials for HSE meetings and take an active role in leading these meetings while engaging diverse stakeholders
You shall participate in contractor qualification, evaluation, and performance monitoring
You shall help maintain a positive, supportive, and engaged HSE culture across the organization
ou shall have a Bachelor's degree in an HSE related field, Engineering, or Science
You are required to have OSHA 30 in Construction (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of applicable OSHA requirements for construction and commissioning is necessary
Understanding of Electrical Safety and Hazardous Energy Control, Pressure Testing, Confined Space and Hazardous Atmosphere are critical requirement for this role
You are required to have basic knowledge and ability to read and understand P&IDs and 1-line diagrams
You shall have a minimum of 20 years of construction HSE site experience
You are required to have at least 10 years of experience in a Lead HSE or Regional HSE Manager role preferably in a client Company
You shall have strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative approach to contractor oversight
You shall be capable of delivering HSE training on applicable topics
You are required to be willing and able to travel and work extensively in the field performing HSE inspections, observations, and coaching The office would be in the Woodlands 30-40% travel Hybrid 3 days in office
