Job Description

POSITION DEFINITION POSITION TITLE
Safety Manager
REPORTS TO
CEO Responsible for managing the Company's Safety Program, supporting Safety Staff and supporting the Management Team with other administrative tasks to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This position will help develop company strategy related to safety and provide regular communication/updates to leadership regarding Safety initiatives. The position reports to the CEO and must have a sound working relationship with all office staff, management, supervisory positions, foremen, electricians, and linemen in their designated area.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Bachelors Degree Preferred or similar recognized safety certification (CHST, CSHO, CSP) Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety related role Maintaining the Company's Veriforce and ISNetworld portals Familiarity with Industrial/Energy Safety Protocols Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Drafting and implementing safety policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conducting in person and remote (depending on the need) training sessions for new hires and ongoing education for current employees to promote safety awareness and compliance.
  • Performing onsite and field audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Organizing monthly safety meetings to discuss safety performance, updates, and improvements.
  • Issuing and maintaining PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and IPPE (Insulated Personal Protective Equipment) to ensure employees have the necessary equipment to perform their jobs safely.
  • Supervising safety staff to ensure they are effectively implementing safety programs and policies.
  • Conducting accident investigations and Root Cause Analysis to determine causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Developing and maintaining company and employee safety documentation including records of training, audits, and incidents.
  • Collaborating with other departments to integrate safety practices into all aspects of the company's operations.
  • Staying updated on safety regulations and best practices to continuously improve the company's safety program.
  • Updating and providing Company safety information such as policies, licensing, and testing/audit results to customers and vendors.

Adheres to Company policies and work requirements. Conducts annual review of Position Definition and updates as required.

Pay:
$70,060.59 - $100,000.00 per year
