Safety Supervisor Safety ECM parental leave, paid time off, company vehicle United States, Tennessee, Chattanooga Aug 06, 2026 Day & Zimmermann is currently seeking a Safety Supervisor for long-term employment within TVA Coatings. Work locations will be though-out the Tennessee Valley. Position Summary Seeking a self?driven Safety Supervisor with preferred experience in industrial coatings to support safety programs across multiple power plant and industrial sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, travels regularly between job locations (company vehicle provided), and ensures safe work practices for all employees and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive safety inspections, audits, and jobsite evaluations across assigned sites.
  • Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training focused on coatings and general industrial safety.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and develop actionable corrective measures.
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and site?specific safety requirements.
  • Track, maintain, and communicate safety performance metrics and documentation. Experience & Education
  • 4 or more years of safety experience in industrial, coatings, or power?generation environments.
  • OSHA 30 (or higher) required. Preferred Skills
  • Strong communication, coaching, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience supporting or supervising union craft workforce.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and coordinate across multiple sites.
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $54,000- $154,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
