In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that promote a culture of safety excellence. Your expertise will help mitigate risks, protect workers' health, and uphold the highest standards of construction workplace safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety practices on large-scale projects and foster a proactive safety environment. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously improve construction safety policies aligned with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, and other industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to electrical safety procedures, occupational health risks, and general construction site conditions. Lead safety training sessions for construction teams, including first aid and CPR certification programs, ensuring all personnel are equipped with essential safety knowledge. Manage risk assessments and oversee the application of risk management strategies to minimize accidents and injuries on-site. Ensure compliance with construction regulatory requirements such as OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, NFPA standards, and NEC codes. Coordinate incident investigations and prepare detailed reports to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions promptly. Oversee workers' compensation claims processes and maintain accurate records related to occupational health and safety compliance management. Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into daily operations using construction management software tools. Monitor adherence to construction workplace safety regulations and conduct audits to verify ongoing compliance across multiple sites. Lead emergency response planning and ensure all team members are trained in emergency procedures aligned with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) best practices. Skills Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards, ANSI standards, NFPA standards, NEC codes, and construction safety regulations. Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and occupational health principles. Excellent risk management skills with the ability to identify hazards proactively and develop mitigation strategies. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead safety training initiatives and foster a culture of safety awareness among diverse teams. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking. Effective communication skills for coordinating with project teams, regulatory agencies, and emergency responders. Ability to interpret complex regulations related to workers' compensation, OSHA compliance, and occupational health standards. Demonstrated capability in conducting thorough incident investigations and implementing corrective measures promptly.
