Opportunity:

As a key member of our safety team, you'll play a vital role in protecting our people, promoting best practices, and driving continuous improvement—both regionally and as part of a supportive, nationwide network. Your Mission & Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, assess safety risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Coordinate and manage all motor vehicle accident investigations and reporting within your assigned region. Oversee and manage worker's compensation claims, partnering with team members and management to support affected employees. Develop, implement, and maintain inspection policies, procedures, and schedules for routine safety audits. Create and execute both short-term and long-term strategies to foster a proactive safety culture across the organization. Schedule and deliver engaging safety training sessions on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance. Monitor adherence to safety protocols, document findings, and provide comprehensive reports to leadership. Collaborate with regional and national teams to share best practices and drive continuous improvement. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall mission of SRM Concrete.
What Sets You Apart:
Proven ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a larger safety team. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to inspire and educate team members at all levels. Proficiency with technology and equipment used in environmental and safety inspections. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Bachelor's degree preferred; five years of experience in a safety or management role strongly desired. High level of integrity, commitment, and passion for safety excellence. Capable of conducting thorough site inspections and carrying necessary equipment. Comfortable with prolonged periods of desk work and computer use. Able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Physically able to visit and work at concrete plants, mines, and construction sites on a routine basis.
