Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across construction sites, ensuring a secure, compliant, and health-conscious work environment. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee safety protocols aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will foster a safety-first culture, mitigate risks, and ensure all team members operate within OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, and other relevant safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence construction safety practices at the ground level while supporting project success through rigorous safety management. Duties Develop and enforce comprehensive safety plans that comply with
OSHA, ANSI, NFPA
standards, and local regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to occupational health risks, and construction workplace safety regulations. Lead safety training sessions for all personnel, including first aid and CPR certification programs, to promote awareness and preparedness. Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and risk management strategies. Investigate incidents or near-misses promptly; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution. Manage compliance documentation using construction management software; maintain accurate records of inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and regulatory filings. Skills Strong knowledge of construction site experience combined with expertise in construction safety management and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in risk management techniques and occupational health principles tailored for construction environments. Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA standards (National Fire Protection Association), OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and OSHA's occupational health requirements. Demonstrated team leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and guide diverse teams on safety best practices. Experience implementing safety training programs including hazard recognition, electrical safety procedures, first aid/CPR certification processes, and compliance management tools. Skilled in using construction management software and Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting purposes. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with project stakeholders, emergency responders, and regulatory agencies while fostering a culture of safety awareness.
