The Safety Manager will play a key role in supporting on-site construction activities for heavy civil projects involving government, state, military, and private clients. This position ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications while maintaining high-quality standards.

Primary Skills:

must have 10 years of experience as a Safety Manager for construction projects, and 2 federal design-build projects that cost $5 million or more. Experience with heavy civil/horizontal construction projects involving excavation and earth moving, heavy concrete, underground utilities, etc. is important. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations. Familiarity with safety management systems and software. Strong knowledge of construction and industrial safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees, contractors, and stakeholders. Ability to lead and facilitate safety training sessions and meetings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify safety hazards and develop effective solutions. Attention to detail and ability to enforce safety protocols consistently. Construction Quality Control experience is a plus.
