Mid-Senior (5-10 years preferred, max 15) About the Role We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to lead safety initiatives on a large-scale semiconductor construction project. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on field engagement, and the ability to proactively identify and mitigate safety risks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors to enhance safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage contractor safety programs across multiple teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Develop and implement hazard control procedures, safety programs, and risk mitigation strategies. Conduct risk assessments and support contractor safety reviews. Audit and evaluate safety program effectiveness and compliance. Review pre-task plans, site risk analyses, and standard operating procedures. Deliver safety training (e.g., fall protection, LOTO, electrical safety, MEWP). Collaborate closely with field teams, contractors, and stakeholders to drive safety improvements. Participate in daily/weekly/monthly safety and operational meetings. Lead incident investigations and ensure timely corrective actions for incidents and near misses. Support the site-wide auditing program and ensure closure of corrective/preventative actions. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations. Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting. Basic Qualifications 5-10 years of HSE experience in construction environments (major project experience required; max 15 years total). OSHA 30 and
OSHA 510
certifications (required). Strong working knowledge of
OSHA, EPA, DOT
regulations. Experience in contractor safety management. Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve safety risks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation tools. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to work early mornings, occasional night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. Ability to work fully on-site. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Science, Safety, or related field.
OSHA 500
certification. Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHST, SHEP, CSHO). Experience with ISO 14001 and
OHSAS/ISO 45001
standards. Semiconductor (FAB) construction experience. Electrical substation construction and commissioning experience. Experience working in multi-cultural or international environments. Experience interacting with regulatory agencies. Spanish language proficiency (nice to have). IWT (Industrial Wastewater Treatment) experience (preferred).
