This position is responsible for ensuring full compliance with corporate EHS standards, regulatory requirements, and client safety expectations within a mission-critical data center environment. The Senior EHS Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all EHS matters at the project level, interfacing directly with project leadership, clients, and owners. This role drives the implementation and continuous improvement of Hays Electrical Services' EHS programs, establishes clear expectations for field execution, and ensures alignment across all project teams to achieve a high-performing safety culture. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all EHS activities on assigned project(s), ensuring consistent implementation of company programs, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Serve as the primary EHS interface with client and owner representatives, participating in high-level meetings, reporting, and strategic discussions. Establish and drive project-wide safety strategy, priorities, and performance expectations in alignment with corporate EHS objectives. Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to EHS team members at assigned project(s) ensuring consistent execution across all areas of the project. Maintain visibility across the project through field engagement, leadership presence, and verification of safety performance. Ensure effective planning and safe execution of high-risk activities, including electrical work, lockout/tagout (LOTO), crane operations, confined space activities, and other critical operations. Lead incident management processes, including reporting, investigation oversight, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Oversee safety audits, inspections, and performance evaluations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Partner with construction leadership, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Energy Control teams to align safety with project execution and sequencing. Ensure effective implementation and oversight of safety permitting processes across the project. Maintain and communicate project safety performance metrics, trends, and key indicators to leadership, clients, and corporate EHS. Drive a proactive safety culture through leadership engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives. Education, Qualifications, & Certifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field (preferred); equivalent field experience considered. 10+ years of experience in construction EHS, with demonstrated experience leading electrical contractor safety programs on large-scale or mission-critical projects. Strong knowledge of
OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA
70E, and energy-control (LOTO) requirements. Proven experience leading incident investigations, audits, and safety program implementation. Demonstrated ability to influence project leadership, engage clients, and drive safety culture across large teams.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction (required) First Aid/CPR (required) CHST, CSP, ASP or equivalent (preferred)
