Responsible for ensuring that the organization has a systematic approach to complying with environmental regulations, such as managing waste or air emissions. Will liaise with directors of other sections of the organization to ensure that strategic goals align with those of the environmental health and safety team.

Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Construction Health and Safety Officer in Alexandria, Virginia. The EHSO will partner with the CM Team, Client, and their contractor teams, to provide support in managing health and safety for PhaseForward projects. This position is located at a wastewater treatment facility, with expectation to monitor projects on-site and off-site as needed for the various project locations that the CM team is responsible for overseeing. Salary Ranges from $116,000

158,000 pending experience.

Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety (Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Construction Management, Engineering, Safety Management, etc.) or comparable degree.
10+ years of professional experience, preferably on active construction sites for municipal water and wastewater projects.
Current BCSP professional certification (i.e., CSP, CHST).
Experience using ePMIS (e.

g., Procore, Trimble) for safety reporting and accountability.
