Safety Technician (Construction-MUST

In this key role, you'll help shape and strengthen our safety culture across multiple job sites and facilities. We're looking for a proactive safety professional who values teamwork, precision, and accountability — and is ready to make a meaningful impact. This is a boots-on-the-ground role with real influence. You'll work closely with field teams, leadership, and subcontractors to promote best practices, ensure compliance, and help every employee go home safe — every day.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with project teams and departments to identify hazards and implement effective control measures using engineering solutions or PPE Conduct regular job site safety audits, inspections, and observations, and document and report findings Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and company-specific safety policies Lead incident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, and develop corrective/preventative actions Deliver engaging safety training in both field and classroom settings Provide first-aid care for minor injuries and support emergency response when necessary Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management on safety-related concerns Stay up-to-date on regulatory standards and contribute to continuous improvement of our safety systems ✅ What You Bring to the
Table:
Knowledge of
OSHA/MSHA
standards and a strong desire to learn and grow Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or extended shifts Comfortable working in outdoor conditions and on active job sites Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Valid state driver's license and clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening ➕
Bonus Points For:
OSHA 30 or
OSHA 500
certification BCSP certification (CHST, STS, or equivalent) CPR/First Aid certified Bilingual (Spanish/English) Previous safety experience in construction, excavation, or demolition
