Full-Time (Contingent Upon Contract Award) Overview Monneus Group is seeking a Safety and Airborne Operations Program Manager to support the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) and the Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE) Airborne Program at Naval Station Norfolk, VA. This role implements a comprehensive Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) program that protects personnel, prevents loss of resources, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations. This position is contingent upon contract award. Key Responsibilities Provide continuous, direct oversight of the JCSE Airborne Program on behalf of the JECC headquarters Manage the command's airborne safety program and airborne malfunction and incident reporting program Analyze trends in airborne incidents and malfunctions; review and provide feedback on airborne after-action reports (AARs) Validate the readiness and structure of the command's airborne assets and billets Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for airborne operations, training, and safety Support JCSE Jumpmaster training and proficiency Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in military airborne operations and 5 years' experience managing a comprehensive safety program in a military or DoD environment Demonstrated knowledge of DoD, Army, Navy, and Air Force safety regulations and standards; experience in a joint or multinational headquarters Demonstrated experience planning and executing joint airborne operations, including personnel and heavy-equipment drops Knowledge of joint and service doctrine (JP 3-18, JP 3-16, FM 3-99, ATP 4-48, DAFMAN 13-217, AFDP 3-36) and Joint Airdrop Inspection Record / AR 59-4 malfunction-reporting procedures Graduate of the U.S. Army Jumpmaster Course Completion of a service safety-officer course (Army USOC;
USMC GSM
; Navy NAVOSH; or Air Force Risk Management + Supervisor Safety Training) or an equivalent program Active Secret security clearance (required to start; maintained for the life of the contract) U.S. citizenship required Experience Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is highly desired!
