Essential Functions Provide thorough safety orientation for all project new hires Excellent communications skills and a passion for safety Provide strong safety oversite and guidance Guide subcontractors through the preparation of government safety requirements Using the behavior based approach to provide safety oversight for various construction activities, including underground utilities, elevated work, confined spaces and other general construction activities Conduct daily onsite safety inspections - RMS daily reporting Correct and document safety deficiencies Conduct Equipment Initial Inspections Daily communication with project team Provide accurate recordkeeping and AHA matrix Above average computer skills (MS Office) Able to pass security background check to enter post Qualifications 5 years of relevant SSHO experience with 5 years of DOD experience Level 4 SSHO qualified CSP or CHST a qualifications 30 Hour OSHA in construction 24 hour fall protection Knowledgeable of OSHA 1910, 1926 and
