Job Description
Regional Trucking Company seeking a full time Regional Safety Manager to cover Prince George, Chesapeake, Fredericksburg and Blackstone locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and maintain all elements of a comprehensive Safety Program. Continuously improve employee / facility safety and ensure compliance with OSHA / FMCSA/ State regulations. Conduct internal audits; Accident / Injury / Incident investigations Manage property damage for each location Performs Safety audits on each site quarterly Effectively coach drivers to adopt safer driving habits Provide ongoing support and assistance to drivers Qualifications Possess a comprehensive understanding of all transportation regulations, including DOT, FMCSA and CSA CDL license and/or DOT enforcement experience is preferred but not required. Must be proficient with MS Office applications with expertise in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Must be organized with excellent communication skills. Must be willing and able to travel regionally.
