Site Safety Officer (SSHO) Corinth, VT | 6-8 Week USACE Project Join Our Team on a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Project Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking an experienced Site Safety Officer (SSHO) for a 6-8-week U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) construction project in Corinth, Vermont. We're looking for a safety professional with strong field experience who can confidently lead site safety efforts, ensure EM 385 and OSHA compliance, and partner with project teams to maintain a safe, productive work environment. Travelers are encouraged to apply! Eligible travelers will receive per diem. This is a USACE project. Candidates must meet all USACE minimum qualifications and project requirements to be considered. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of construction safety oversight experience within the past 10 years. Experience serving as a Site Safety Officer, SSHO, Site Safety Manager, Construction Safety Manager, or Construction Safety Specialist. Ability to obtain military installation access and security clearance. Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and federal construction safety requirements. Required Certifications Certifications must be provided to be considered for this opportunity OSHA 30-Hour Construction card (issued within the past 5 years). Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications. Minimum of 25 hours of documented formal safety training completed within the last 5 years (exclusive of OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR/AED). Preferred Experience Previous USACE construction project experience.
