Job Description

Employee Health and Safety Manager We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join a leading manufacturing organization in Appleton, WI. As an Employee Health and Safety Manager, you will be part of the Safety and Compliance Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to safety management, which will align successfully in the organization.

1st What's the Job? Develop, implement, and sustain effective safety and health systems to eliminate injuries and minimize risks. Lead safety culture transformation through employee engagement, coaching, and visible presence on the shop floor. Analyze safety-related issues, conduct incident investigations, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Manage OSHA compliance, safety policies, and emergency preparedness programs across the facility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices and improve safety processes continuously. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in safety sciences, Environmental Science, or a closely related field (CSP preferred or working towards certification). Minimum of 5-7 years of professional safety and health experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills with experience driving cultural change and influencing others. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects effectively. Proficient in computer software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. What's in it for me?
