Face of Safety:
Spend meaningful time on the production floor, building trust with the team and proactively identifying opportunities to eliminate workplace hazards. Lead with
Logic:
Guide incident investigations using root-cause analysis to develop smart, sustainable corrective actions that protect our people.
Champion Culture:
Implement and grow our Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) program and champion our employee-led Safety Committee, serving as their voice to upper management.
Navigate Compliance:
Serve as the subject matter expert on OSHA regulations, Process Safety Management (PSM), and environmental compliance (including permit filing, waste disposal, and tank testing).
Manage Care & Recovery:
Supervise the plant's Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work programs, collaborating closely with our on-site nursing staff.
Drive Sustainability:
Support corporate sustainability initiatives and environmental programs to reduce our ecological footprint.

Requirements:
Education / Certification / Qualifications / Experience Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering or Environmental Safety & Health field or equivalent experience
Experience:
Three years' professional experience in manufacturing industry, with a focus on safety. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. Knowledge of federal, state, local safety, health and medical rules and regulations. Familiar with Emergency Procedures in First Aid, CPR, Defibrillator. Knowledge of State workers' compensation and State Disability, FMLA, ADA laws/rules. Must possess good organizational and administration skills.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) status recommended.
