Job Description

United Group Services is seeking an experienced Safety Professional with a strong background in data center construction and industrial mechanical projects. This role will support nationwide assignments while helping drive a proactive safety culture across large-scale mechanical construction operations. This long-term opportunity will begin in Spartanburg, SC but will require travel / short-term relocation for subsequent projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and enforce site safety programs on industrial and data center construction projects Conduct daily safety audits, jobsite inspections, and hazard assessments Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, customer requirements, and company policies Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training Investigate incidents, near misses, and develop corrective action plans Work closely with project management, field supervision, and craft personnel to maintain a safe and productive work environment Maintain all required documentation, reports, and compliance records Support multiple project sites nationwide as business needs require Qualifications Previous experience as a Safety Professional within industrial mechanical construction Prior data center project experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards Experience supporting large-scale fast-paced construction projects Ability to communicate effectively with field craft, supervisors, and customers Willingness to travel nationwide for project assignments
CHST, OSHA
500/510, CSP, or additional safety certifications preferred
Pay:
$38.00 - $50.00 per hour
