Start your career today and find out where you fit into the global food supply chain and the mission to feed the world Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support the safety and occupational health team. Assist in improving accident and illness prevention programs. Conduct hazard and risk assessments. Prepare and submit safety reports to management. Help with Workers' Compensation and safety committees. Investigate accidents and track corrective actions. Participate in safety training sessions and promote safety awareness. Perform regular plant safety inspections. Assist in managing safety programs (exposure control, hazard communication, respiratory protection, hearing conservation). Ensure compliance with safety laws and company policies. Help set standards for PPE and machine guarding. Support ergonomics program development. Review and approve new or modified equipment for safety. Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need Education:
Enrolled in a four-year university or pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field.Minimum GPA:
