To apply for this position, visit https://www.schooljobs.com/careers/sautech Environmental Health & Safety Instructor Arkansas Environmental Training Academy (AETA)/Southern Arkansas University Tech (SAU Tech) Camden, AR On-Campus | Full-Time | 12-Month Faculty Position Position Overview The Environmental Health & Safety Instructor serves within the Arkansas Environmental Training Academy and reports to the Director of AETA or their designee. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality Environmental Health & Safety training and supporting curriculum development to meet evolving industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities ✅ Teach Environmental Health & Safety courses: On-campus Off-campus Online (Zoom/Internet and alternative delivery methods) ✅ Collaborate with the EHS Program Coordinator to: Develop and revise curriculum Maintain compliance with changing technologies Address state and federal regulatory requirements ✅ Deliver Environmental Health & Safety training statewide ✅ Attend professional meetings, workshops, seminars, and conferences ✅ Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications ✔ 5 years of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety-related field ✔ Knowledge of safety regulations, rules, and procedures ✔
Knowledge of:
HAZWOPER DOT
Hazardous Materials Transportation OSHA General Industry Standards OSHA Construction Industry Standards ✔ Strong presentation and training skills for students and industry professionals ✔ Successful completion of a background check Preferred Qualifications ⭐ OSHA Authorized Trainer (General Industry and/or Construction) ⭐ Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in: Environmental Science Safety Physical Science Chemistry Related field ⭐ Experience with curriculum development and instruction Additional Information Full-time, 40-hour work week Background check required Applications accepted until the position is filled Relocation expected if not within a reasonable commuting distance For additional details or to apply for this position, visit https://www.schooljobs.com/careers/sautech

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
