The Environmental Health Program provides licensing and inspection services to just under 2000 businesses throughout Coconino County, including food establishments, hotels/motels, pools and spas, schools, children's camps, trailer parks/campgrounds, body art establishments as well as special event permitting. In addition, the program responds to public nuisance complaints and conducts vector activities for the surveillance of vector-borne illnesses. This position could cover a variety of areas within Coconino County (Page, Tuba City, Marble Canyon, Fredonia, Cameron, Williams, Sedona, Tusayan, Flagstaff, etc.) As a result, significant driving will be part of this position. Under general supervision, performs work of moderate difficulty in the environmental health field; performs related work as assigned.
