JOB DUTIES
SAFETY
COMPLIANCE 1.
Responsible for Accident Reports and Investigations. 2. Responsible for Injury Reports and Investigations. 3. Conduct Warehouse Inspection. 4. Review Samsara for events and violations for drivers. 5. Coaching on driver violations. 6. Stay current on Safety Compliance. 7. Conducting New Hire Training and PIT Certifications. 8. Re-train employees on Safety Protocol. 9. Schedule fire sprinkler, backflow testing and fire extinguisher inspections. 10. Take correction actions on safety hazards.
FOOD SAFETY COMPLIANCE 1.
Review and revise of the Food Safety Documents. 2. Training employees in Food Safety. 3. Update Policy and Procedures. 4. Monitor & enforce Food Safety practices, ensuring adherences to HACCP, GMP and other Food Safety protocols. 5. Perform monthly self-audits. 6. Lead annual third-party audits. 7. Maintaining Food Safety Certifications are current. 8. Schedule Microbiology Swab Testing with 3rd party company. 9. Perform other testing as needed. 10. Meet with FDA, USDA or other regulatory agencies on annual inspections. 11. Investigate and resolve quality related issues including product defects, customer complaints or non-compliance incidents. 12. Perform inventory stock checks.
HR SUPPORT
This role involves providing administrative assistance and facilitating HR processes to ensure smooth operations within the Human Resources Department. 1. Administrative Support to assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department, including managing employee records and updating HR files. 2.
Recruitment Assistance:
Collaborate with Corporate HR Recruiter and HR Department to review candidates and conduct interviews with the General Manager. 3.
Employee Onboarding:
Provide orientations for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies. 4.
HR Projects Coordination:
Help coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars to enhance employee engagement and development. 5.
Communication:
Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and complaints, providing guidance and assistance where necessary.
REQUIREMENTS 1. HACCP
certification is required as it demonstrates expertise in hazard analysis and critical control points. (Preferred). 2. PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) certification is increasingly important, especially for FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) compliance. (Preferred). 3. Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), FSMA, and other food safety regulations is essential. 4. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. 5. Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, FSMA). 6. Communication skills for training, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. 7. Problem-solving abilities to address compliance issues promptly. 8. Organizational skills to manage audits, documentation, and training schedules. 9. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 10. Ability to work quickly under pressure. 11. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. 12. Knowledge of Safety Compliance.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
