Job Description

Overview:
JY techs was established in 2009. Its main customers are international semiconductor factories located in Taiwan Science Park. Currently, JY techs is developing new business in Phoenix and is a qualified supplier of TSMC az. JY Techs is committed to providing professional engineering services to semiconductor factories. Principle Duties & Responsibilities Coordinates focus of project leadership and field personnel to ensure implementation of safety activities throughout projects. The focus always on incident prevention, risk removal or reduction. Reviews site safety program and proposes improvements to assure that those managing the work embraces safety as part of the work culture. Participates in the creation of job hazard plans, tasks submittals and safety specifications and verifies that all safety precautions have been included. Drives companywide safety training and education programming including new employee training. Maintains liaison with outside organizations such as clinics, fire departments, mutual aid societies, and rescue teams to assure correct site information and assistance to support for the project. Conducts or coordinates safety and first aid training to educate workers about safety, policies, laws, and practices. Passes any safety related information down to those in the field using focused toolbox talks or at morning huddles. Conducts and communicates incident investigation findings to minimize reoccurrence, assures thepreparation of accident reports, and confirms closure of corrective actions. Encourages and promotes the value of early incident or injury reporting from those onsite. Encourage the submittal of near misses, good catches, lesson learned or best practices and promotes the recognition of those helping with that effort. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Possess demonstrable occupational safe work practices in a technical service environment such as rigging, mechanical installation, electrical contracting or similar general trades. Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Manufacturing, Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Facilities, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or a related Health, Safety & Environmental field Knowledge of safety regulations Excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills; including data analysis, regulatory research, technical report preparation and presentation skills and working in remote teams. Excellent time management and independent work skills to plan and organize a multitude of concurrent assignments, with a focus on meeting deadlines and providing deliverables on time. Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. OSHA 30-hour construction industry certification preferred. Bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English are preferred.
