Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Group Share Driver to join our party bus transportation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting groups of passengers, to various destinations while ensuring their safety and comfort. Your expertise in driving, safety protocols, and excellent customer service will help create a positive experience for all passengers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community mobility and support diverse transportation needs. Responsibilities Safely operate buses or specialized vehicles to transport groups of passengers according to scheduled routes and timetables Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including wheelchair assistance and behavior management when necessary Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations during every trip Follow emergency response procedures for transportation, including CPR and first aid when required Maintain communication with dispatchers and team members to respond quickly to traffic changes or route adjustments Conduct vehicle safety checks before each shift, including inspecting brakes, lights, tires, and accessibility equipment Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger questions, ensuring comfort, and managing student discipline or senior care needs Requirements Proven experience in bus driving, school bus driving, transit bus operation or similar roles involving passenger transport Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations at state and local levels Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling equipment Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Experience working with children, seniors, or individuals requiring special assistance is preferred Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of emergency stop procedures and emergency response protocols for transportation is highly desirable Familiarity with school policies, behavior management techniques, and student discipline procedures Defensive driving skills combined with quick response capabilities to traffic changes or hazards Join us as a Group Share Driver and be part of a team committed to safe, reliable transportation that makes a difference in people's lives.
