An Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator coordinates environmental health and safety policies, completes workplace and equipment inspections and implements workplace safety programs. Coordinates occupational safety training for employees. Monitors compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations. May oversee handling of hazardous materials at a company site.
Safety Management and Inspections Responsible for the daily inspection and rectification of hazards regarding the warehouse's fire facilities, safety doors, and emergency exits. Organize regular fire drills and safety training to enhance employee safety awareness. Inspect the execution of safety regulations concerning material stacking, forklift operations, and charging areas within the warehouse. 6S Management Implementation Promote the implementation of on-site 6S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety). Participate in weekly 6S audits , generate audit reports, and follow up on improvements. Assist the Lean department in perfecting the labeling, flow lines (traffic patterns/layout), and safety instructions for operating areas. Compliance and Audit Response Responsible for engaging with government departments (e.g., Fire Safety, Environmental Protection, Occupational Safety, etc.) regarding compliance inspections . Collate and maintain safety, health, and environmental (EHS) related documentation, reports, and records. Capable of providing timely and accurate compliance materials and explanations during government departmental reviews. Training and Continuous Improvement Organize and conduct EHS training for employees, including PPE usage, emergency evacuation, and accident emergency response. Establish a mechanism for safety hazard feedback and correction to drive the closure of on-site issues (Closed-Loop System). Qualifications:
Associate's Degree (or equivalent/higher), with a preference for majors in Safety Engineering, Logistics Management, or related fields . Recent college graduates are welcome to apply. Proficient in both English and Chinese as working languages .
