We are seeking an EHS Coordinator with 1+ years of experience and a solid foundational knowledge of CAL-OSHA, EPA, HMBP, and SWPPP regulations. In this highly active, hands-on role, you will conduct daily safety inspections, manage hazardous waste tracking, perform storm water sampling, and lead engaging safety training sessions (like Hazcom). No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Complete daily safety inspections (productions areas, labs, warehouse, shipping and receiving) Weekly inspection for hazardous waste on satellite areas and track the hazardous waste manifests Monthly inspections in the storm water and water sampling in the storm drains (4 events per year) Work actively with the hazard waste minimization plan over Thermoset and Thermoplastic Identify and mitigate environmental risks Track and monitor programs for corrective actions regarding accident investigations Identify risky behaviors within the organization and take appropriate action Ensuring the wellbeing of employees in the workplace by providing employee safe working methods Assist with ERT meetings and the Safety committee Assist in writing and revising of facility EHS documentation Conducts EHS-related training as needed (e.g., Hazcom, Hazardous Waste, different Safety topics, etc.) Develop awareness by providing formal and informal training opportunities related to EHS Assist with annual update of Hazardous Material Business plan Assist with Industrial hygiene as needed Perform Ergonomic Assessments as needed Assist in developing new programs and procedures following OSHA, EPA and Company Guidelines The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 8 hours at one timeSkillsOSHA (2 years of experience is preferred)Manufacturing (2 years of experience is preferred)EHS (2 years of experience is preferred)QualificationsYears of experience: 2 yearsExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
