Position Overview The Sanitation Crew plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, food-safe, and inspection-ready production facility. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, consistency, and pride in your work. Sanitation ensures that our bakery operates safely and efficiently for the next production shift. The work is essential to food safety, team safety, and overall operational excellence. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in structured work, follows procedures closely, and takes ownership of doing the job thoroughly every shift. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize bakery production areas, equipment, floors, walls, racks, and common spaces Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment as directed Follow established sanitation schedules and food safety procedures Use cleaning chemicals and janitorial equipment safely and properly Complete cleaning logs and required documentation Support compliance with food safety standards and internal inspections Maintain an organized and hazard-free work environment Communicate maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors Schedule & Work Environment Start times between 3:00pm-6:30pm 8.5-hour shifts Weekend availability required Work is performed in a production bakery environment Exposure to flour, water, cleaning chemicals, and industrial equipment Physical Requirements This is a highly physical position.

Employees must be able to:

Stand, walk, bend, and reach for the entire shift Lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly Push and pull racks or equipment Work in wet and fast-paced environments Qualifications At least 1 year of sanitation, janitorial, dishwasher, or cleaning experience in a food production or manufacturing setting (preferred) Experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals (preferred) Strong reliability and attendance record Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team What You Can Expect In-house training Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Fresh bread to take home Location Oceanside, CA 92056 In-person position.
