Sanitation Technician:

Responsibilities:
Set up workstation and ensure all tools are ready. Clean and sanitize production areas, lines, and equipment. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machine parts. Keep drains clean and functional. Clean the facility, including floors and trash, following GMP standards. Handle cleaning chemicals safely (SSOPs and SDS). Other sanitation tasks as needed.
Working hours:
6:00 AM - 3:30 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Make suggestions and recommend changes regarding improved techniques for the control of plant cleanliness and sanitation standards. May be certified in the use of the motorized Pallet Jack or Forklift.
Bilingual Spanish Education:
No Degree Required Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
The ability to bend, kneel, lift, and perform other physical activities on a daily basis. Ability to safely lift items from 10???50 pounds including boxes, scrap bins, garbage bins, machine parts, and belts and ask for help for lifting heavier items. Place a high priority on food safety, quality, and sanitation by understanding and executing food safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP???s) and all other food safety requirements. Report any potentially unsafe practices or conditions to the Supervisor. Must be hard working, punctual, dependable, self-motivated, self-managed, organized, and flexible.
