is hiring a Quality Specialist II to join our Quality Assurance team. This is a hands-on, senior role at the center of daily operations. You'll keep product moving by reviewing and releasing production records while making sure every batch meets our food safety and quality standards. If you know food safety inside and out and like being where the action is on the production floor, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Review, verify, and release production and batch records — keeping product moving without compromising compliance.
Run the environmental monitoring program:
swabbing, trending results, and driving corrective actions on out-of-spec findings. Conduct GMP and food safety inspections, document findings, and verify corrective actions through to completion. Manage label control and allergen control programs to prevent mislabeling and allergen cross-contact. Help maintain calibration program and perform calibration checks and verify scales, temperatures, and monitoring records against preventive controls. Support internal and SQF audits, and keep food safety records organized and audit-ready. Help review food safety related Maintenance documents and work orders. Guide and train QA technicians and production personnel on GMPs, sanitation, and good documentation practices. What You Bring 3-5 years of quality assurance experience in dietary supplement or food manufacturing (preferred). Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related scientific field (preferred). HACCP or PCQI certification (preferred). Working knowledge of cGMP, HACCP, and SQF requirements. Sharp attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus. Physical Requirements Able to move throughout all areas of the facility and lift up to 60 pounds at times; includes periods of desk and computer work.
