Wednesday - Saturday nights 5pm - 3:30 am Job Summary We are seeking a Safety Specialist to support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives within a fast-paced operational environment. This individual will help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, conduct audits and observations, support incident investigations, and assist with employee safety training. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining a safe workplace. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related role OR a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910 Professional experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with employees at all levels Responsibilities Facilitate workplace incident and safety investigations Maintain required documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Enter and maintain information within internal databases in a timely and accurate manner Perform safety observations, inspections, and compliance audits Train and assist managers and team members on safety procedures, audits, and regulatory requirements Deliver safety-related training as required by leadership Support fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and other EHS initiatives as assigned Participate in continuous improvement projects and drive corrective actions to completion Identify compliance risks and opportunities for improvement through daily, weekly, and monthly audits Partner with operational leadership to promote a strong culture of workplace safetyCompensation:
$35/hr to $39/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.Benefits
