1st Shift Your Impact - Big and Bold! Join our team as an EHS Technician and help make safety part of everything we do. Partner with the EHS colleagues, site leaders, and team members to support EHS programs, promote safe work practices, maintain compliance, and help create a safer workplace every day. What a Day in
Your Life Looks Like:
Incident Investigation:
Support accident and injury investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Compliance & Reporting:
Maintain EHS records, compliance systems, and key safety metrics to support accurate reporting and regulatory readiness.
Audits & Assessments:
Support workplace audits covering LOTO, machine guarding, hot work, electrical safety, waste, stormwater, and
OSHA/EPA
requirements.
EHS Programs & Training:
Support safety policies, procedures, communications, training, new-hire orientation, and other EHS initiatives.
Hazard Prevention:
Assist with JSAs, PPE assessments, and corrective actions to identify and reduce workplace hazards.
Employee Engagement:
Partner with team members, leadership, vendors, and contractors to address safety concerns and strengthen safety performance.
EHS Support:
Provide administrative and project support to the EHS Manager and perform other EHS-related duties as assigned. What You Bring to the
Table:
EHS Knowledge:
Working knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and manufacturing safety practices preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using databases and computerized systems.
Communication & Organization:
Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
Initiative:
Self-motivated and able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred, with 0-3 years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, safety, or related experience.
Professional Development:
Willingness to pursue relevant EHS certifications, including OSHA 501, ASP, CSP, CIH, or other certifications required for the role.
Physical Requirements:
This position works in a fast-paced manufacturing / office environment where communication, collaboration, and visibility on the production floor are essential. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and use of hands are required throughout the workday. The role occasionally requires lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 35 pounds, as well as gearing up with safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection to stay secure. Why Morgan?
